Job Description/Skills Required

• Responsible for data entry of Individual case safety reports into the safety database.
• Review and evaluate AE case information to determine required action based on and following internal policies and procedures.
• Process all incoming cases in order to meet timelines.
• Full data entry including medical coding and safety narrative
• To perform listedness assessment using RSI documents (USPI, SmPC, AUPI etc.)
• Responsible for coding all medical history, events, drugs /procedures/indications and laboratory tests according to the appropriate dictionary (For e.g., MedDRA, Company Product Dictionary, WHO-DD).
• To write medically relevant safety narrative of cases and checking the completeness and accuracy of the data entered in the various fields.
• Global literature searching including validity check and tracking to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Tracking of ICSR (and other trackers as per internal procedure) and cross reporting to applicable regulatory agency.
• Reconciliation of Adverse events with marketing partners, service provider and plant QA.
• Preparation of Periodic Safety Update Report i.e. PADER/PBRER/PSUR.
• Assessment and reporting of signal activities.
• PSMF preparation and management.
